Brennen Schmertmann
Owner, CEO, and CCO
Servant of God, husband to a captivating wife, father to five beautiful children and one in heaven, and faith-based investor/advisor. Brennen started St. Therese Financial LLC on the burning desire to align people's investments with their Christian values. Prior to working in finance, Brennen taught algebra II and precalculus at Bettendorf High School. When not running a business, he spends time with his family, reading, and watching Notre Dame football.

Karen Schmertmann
Social Media and Administrative
Daughter of God, wife,and mother to five beautiful children and one in heaven. Karen assists with the social media campaigns and administrative needs of St. Therese Financial LLC. After earning her MBA, she worked as a buyer and Supply-Chain Analyst at Cobham Mission Systems. When not working the business, Karen homeschools her children and enjoys spending time with family, reading, a great cup of coffee, and watching her husband watch Notre Dame football.
